On Wednesday, Feb. 13 the Crossroads Café buzzed with activity. Students and faculty gathered in support of Eve Ensler's One Billion Rising Campaign, seeking to end violence against women. Ensler advocates for communities to join in "solidarity, joy, rage, recklessness, and happiness" to fight the alarming statistics. One in three women will be raped in her lifetime. Before the dance party began, several performed, including DJ Mariam, Middlebrow and Poor Form Poetry. Anna Stevens '12, pictured here, read a scene from The Vagina Monologues. Red velvet cupcakes and sweet potato fries catered to all in attendance.
