On Earth Day (Apr. 22), scientists and lovers of science alike came together in Washington D.C. to celebrate science and its relevance in our everyday lives. Its mission, according to the March for Science website, was for people to “unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.”
