By the fall of 2010, the Middlebury College Summer Language Schools, in collaboration with an undisclosed online partner, will launch a language software program geared toward teaching Spanish and French to K-12 students across the United States.

Beginning in Fall 2010, Residential Life will offer significantly more options for super block housing, allowing an unspecified number of rising juniors and seniors to be housed in groups of 5, 10, 15, 20, 24 or 30.

Library and Information Services (LIS) plans to launch the new College Web site in February. The new site will feature a redesigned home page that focuses on displaying the diversity of the College, while retaining the traditional links to admissions, academics and other popular portals.

As 2010 begins, student environmental leaders returning from the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen hope to spark federal action on climate change, while those involved in the Solar Decathlon project will work to provide Middlebury students with a tangible model for sustainability.

LIS introduces printing quotas

Starting in February, Library and Information Services (LIS) will enact a new policy establishing a printing quota for students. The policy will require students who exceed the quota to pay five cents per page for each side of a page.
