On Sunday, Dec. 2 Middlebury defeated Skidmore College 6-1 in the country's first intercollegiate logrolling competition. Although the top position went to Skidmore's Will Hoeschler, brother of Lizzie '04, Kate '05 and Abby '10 (who brought logrolling and provided the original logs to Middlebury), winning the second through sixth spots has resulted in a number one national ranking for the team.
