Flanked by support runners as she heralded the Olympic torch down Broad Street in South Philadelphia, Katie Samson '02 completed her .2 mile segment of the Olympic Torch Relay, which stretches from Atlanta, Ga. to Salt Lake City, Utah. Samson felt "overwhelmed by the emotional aspect" of being involved in such a momentous event.
