106 Feb students joined the Middlebury College community. Of the new students, 54 are male and 52 are female. They come from 26 states, with the most representation from Massachusetts, New York and Vermont. Six of the new students are international students hailing from Australia, Canada, China, France, India and Japan.
During high school, almost 50 percent were captains of at least one sports team, nearly 25 percent were student government presidents and 15 were editors of their school newspapers or yearbooks. It is a diverse and talented class which promises to make significant contributions to the Middlebury community.
