To the Editor:
I don't remember the hero Rudy Giuliani, but I do remember the man who allowed his police force to abuse African-Americans and to promote racial profiling. Of special note was his police force's killing of an African immigrant. I was really pleased to see that David Edleson ["Giuliani seems like misguided choice," April 7] agrees that Giuliani was a "misguided choice" for the college graduation. Remember that this man who was referred to as America's mayor used this celebrity stature to ask for the privilege of executing Osama Bin Laden. The only thing that should be wiped out is the decision to invite Giuliani and his questionable practice to a place with the credibility and respectability of Middlebury College.
