Jenny Johnston ’14 will give the student commencement speech representing the class of 2014 at Commencement on May 25.
Johnston was chosen from nearly 20 applicants by Editor-in-Chief Kyle Finck ’14, SGA president Rachel Liddell ’15, Alex Cort ’14.5, Jackie Breckenridge ’14 and Bry Kleber ’14.
"The Commencement Student Speaker Selection Committee is pleased to announce that Jenny Johnston has been chosen as this year’s Commencement student speaker. Jenny is from Westport, Connecticut and is an Economics major with a minor in Political Science. Jenny was a member of Otter Nonsense Players and also a Senior Admissions Fellow," wrote Dean of the College Shirley Collado in an email to the senior class on Wednesday, May 7.
