”The soulful gaze of Sápmi.”

1. Saki Tsubouchi, ”The soulful gaze of Sápmi”: During my visit to Sápmi, the ancestral lands of the Sámi people in northern Norway, I found myself eye-to-eye with this reindeer. Its gaze speaks of centuries shared between humans and nature. Whose story do you hear?

2. Lucas Nerbonne, “Horses just north of the Arctic Circle”: A herd of free-range horses on the Island of Grimsey, which lies 30 miles north of the Icelandic mainland and straddles the edge of the Artic Circle. These particular horses followed us for an hour and half, likely looking for treats.
