Mark Our Words, and our Calendars

May 6th 2010: Airswimming

The senior work of Martina Bonolis ’10 and Michaela Lieberman ’10.5, “Airswimming” tells the tale of two women in an asylum for the criminally insane, struggling to come to grips with the realities of womanhood. The show will run until May 8 in the Hepburn Zoo. Tickets are on sale at the box office for $4.

May 6th 2010: My Ohio

With book and lyrics by Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Dana Yeaton ’79 and music by Andy Mitton ’01, “My Ohio” is sponsored by the Middlebury Department of Theatre and Dance. The musical depicts clashing values of conservative and radically liberal America when an Evangelical kindergarten teacher is influenced by her gay, atheist chiropractor.

May 7th 2010: Kid Cudi

Rap sensation Kid Cudi, or Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, will perform to a sold-out crowd in Kenyon Arena. While there’s no reason to promote this, since if you haven’t committed yet, it is definitely too late; however, The Campus officially supports scalping. Keep an eye out for a potentially sick hallmate, maybe sneeze on the Proctor fork receptacle. The show starts at 9 p.m. with opening performances by the Allen Jokers, M-Dot and DJ Kaslow.
