
She previously served as news editor, staff writer and community council correspondent.
Kapp is majoring in political science with a minor in history. She spent the fall of 2019 in Buenos Aires where she interned with the human rights organization Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales and took international relations courses at Universidad Torcuato di Tella.
She previously worked as a reporting intern for The Addison Independent where she wrote news and feature stories about community businesses and local politics. During the summer of 2020 she served as an intern at Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition where she worked with the Detained Children’s Team pursuing legal relief for unaccompanied minors.
On campus, Kapp serves as a research assistant in the Political Science department, works as a writing tutor and teaches English to Spanish speaking migrant farm workers through Compañeros.
