JAMES FINN
James Finn ’20.5 is a managing editor.

He previously worked as Staff Writer, Features Editor, Opinion Editor, Senior Opinion Editor and News Editor.

Finn is pursuing a degree in History with a minor in Spanish.

During the summer of 2018 he worked as a reporter for the Addison County Independent in Middlebury, writing news and feature stories on local politics, community businesses, environmental issues and sports for the twice-weekly publication that covers Addison County’s 23 towns. He again stayed in Middlebury for the summer of 2019, interning with Press Forward PR, a public-relations firm that works with outdoors and sustainability-focused brands.

Originally from Mill Valley, CA, Finn also plays varsity basketball at Middlebury. Prior to coming to Vermont, he spent time in Nicaragua and Guatemala studying Spanish and political science in immersive settings with Where There Be Dragons.
