Nic Pantelick '24 is an Opinion Editor.

Pantelick is currently undeclared but plans on majoring in International & Global Studies with a concentration on the Middle East and Arabic language.

He is an alumnus of Seeds of Peace — an international organization focused on conflict resolution and dialogue. Before coming to Middlebury, Pantelick took a gap year in France and Morocco, where he interned with a Marrakesh-based NGO, the High Atlas Foundation (HAF), working to promote sustainable human development in rural communities across the Maghreb.

At Middlebury, he is also a member of Professor Erik Bleich's political science lab, "The Media Portrayals of Minorities Project," which utilizes computer-assisted and human coding techniques to analyze large media data sets.
