Sophie Hiland is an Online Editor and Staff Writer for the Campus.

Hiland is an American Studies Major and French Minor from Evanston, Il and New York City.

The summer before her Sophomore year she was an editorial assistant for a Financial Times How To Spend It contributor and editor for whom she wrote copy, edited articles and organized interviews and content calendars.

During the summer before her Junior year she worked as an editorial intern for Vermont Sports Magazine and Vermont Ski + Ride Magazine where she wrote articles, managed the Magazines’ social media pages and websites and put together their newsletters. At the end of her internship she received the office superlative “most likely to be snacking.”
