
She has previously served as news editor and local staff writer.
Peachin is studying History and Global Health at Middlebury. Her studies and past reporting focus on activism, climate change and food access.
During the summer of 2020 she interned for Planet Princeton in Princeton, NJ, reporting on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the local community. She also studied food writing at the NYU Journalism school with Mayukh Sen.
In the past she worked as a reporter for the Addison County Independent in Middlebury, writing news and feature stories on education, public health and local businesses. She spent the spring semester studying abroad in Paris, France.
